CONTRIBUTING TO A STREETWEAR BRAND THROUGH SELECTED WORK.SANA Detroit is a contemporary streetwear brand rooted in Detroit culture, community, and storytelling. As a Graphic Designer, I contribute across a wide range of projects that support the brand's growth through retail experiences, apparel, customer touchpoints, and digital design.
The selected work below highlights a cross-section of my contributions at SANA, from large-scale environmental graphics and pop-up activations to apparel development and customer experience design. SANA FLAGSHIP STOREAs SANA prepared for the opening of its flagship Detroit store, I designed the temporary exterior vinyl installation spanning two sides of the corner building. The minimalist orange application transformed the construction site into a bold brand statement while building anticipation for the store opening. I also developed the storefront QR code and website graphics, connecting the physical space with SANA's digital presence.SOMERSET POP-UP CAFÉFor SANA's seasonal Somerset Mall pop-up, I supported the café experience by designing the menu system, preparing matchbook packaging for production, and applying brand assets across customer-facing materials. These touchpoints extended SANA's identity beyond apparel, creating a cohesive retail experience within the temporary activation.
SUMMER TEE COLLECTIONI supported the development of SANA's seasonal apparel collection by refining graphics and creating hand-drawn design elements such as the luggage tag on the "Luggage Tee". Working collaboratively with the design team, I helped develop graphics that balanced illustration, typography, and production requirements while maintaining consistency across the collection.
COLLECTIBLE STICKER SERIESI illustrated a collection of collectible stickers included with SANA online orders, creating each design in Procreate before refining and vectorizing the artwork in Adobe Illustrator. The series features hand-drawn characters and brand-inspired graphics that extend the SANA experience beyond the purchase, with several illustrations later adapted for the upcoming SANA Skate Collection.
